Demonstration Showcases Adoption-Readiness of 10 Gigabit Twisted Pair Connectivity in High-Density Networking Equipment for Data Center and Enterprise Applications

The combination of Mellanox’s dual-port ConnectX® ENt 10GBASE-T adapter cards,  Arista 7100T switches, and Intel® Xeon® 5500 Processor series-based Supermicro 2U Twin2 (“Twin squared”) SuperServers improves total cost of ownership (TCO) by reducing cabling, power consumption, and space usage, while enabling highly-computational machines at ten gigabit performance.
